Women, Art, Politics: What is a woman artist?
Let’s not just talk about feminism — let’s live it.
Five artists, Jessie Deane, Megan Cope, Ok-Hean Chang, Kirsten Lyttle and Baby Guerrilla will “be fearless, speak up, work together, and consistently make trouble” by building from the historiography of feminist and women’s art shows, which for over four decades have either directly or indirectly addressed concerns of sexism in the arts. OPENING: Friday 8 April, 5.30pm – 7pm EXHIBITION: Friday 8 April – Sunday 30 April VENUE: FCAC Roslyn Smorgon Gallery COST: Free |
